Short Bio

Cari A. Wolfson is President of Focus on UX!, a user experience firm specializing in the design of digital experiences, including web, responsive design, and mobile applications.

With over 18 years of experience, Cari has an extensive background in usability, information architecture, and user experience.  She has worked with more than 30 different government agencies and programs to develop usable mobile and web systems.

Cari has an M.S. in Human Computer Interaction from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Communications from Drake University.

Short Bio

Kristina Sommer is a User Experience Consultant at Focus on UX!  During the last 10 years at Focus on UX!, Kristina has lead a number of in-person and remote usability testing efforts across the U.S. and also in other parts of the world.

In addition to her extensive usability testing experience, Kristina also manages recruiting for Focus on UX!, and assists in activities such as content inventories, card sorting and analyses of testing data.  She has recruited more than 1,000 users (show rate 98%).

Kristina has a B.A. in Business Administration.

I have had the pleasure to work with Cari for many years as both a team member and business partner. Over and over she has demonstrated the ability to combine strategic vision with tactical effectiveness … combining her experiences in usability, social media, and web technologies to formulate a comprehensive solution for a target audience. She always goes the extra mile and as a Program Director I always knew her work would be on-time, complete and professionally presented to clients.
